Hair
Hair can grow in places where someone may prefer not to have it. It is very common and can occur on the face or body.
Several factors can contribute to extra hair growth:
Hormones (especially increased androgens)
Genetics
Conditions like PCOS
Certain medications
Normal aging or hormonal changes
Skin Tags
A skin tag (medical name: acrochordon) is a small, soft, harmless growth that hangs off the skin. They are very common and usually appear in areas where skin rubs together.
They are benign and not contagious, but if one suddenly changes color, bleeds, or grows quickly, it’s best to have it checked.
Moles
A mole (medically called a nevus) is a common skin growth made of pigment-producing cells called melanocytes. Most people have between 10–40 moles on their body.
